01 — Online Consultation
How online sessions work: video, phone, or chat
Choose the format that fits your comfort and connectivity
Video sessions provide face-to-face conversation where you can see and hear each other, helpful for showing birth details quickly or when you value personal connection similar to in-person. Phone sessions work well when you are driving-safe with hands-free, walking, or prefer not to be on camera after long day. Chat sessions offer slower, written exchange where you can reread notes easily, useful if you are in shared household and speaking aloud is difficult.
All three formats receive same preparation time and attention. If you choose video and connection drops, we switch to phone without losing session focus. If you choose chat, we keep messages concise and confirm understanding as we go. You may also request hybrid: video for first part and phone for remaining time if battery or bandwidth concerns arise.
Sessions are private one-to-one, by appointment, scheduled in Eastern Time with flexibility for other time zones across USA. We do not record sessions without explicit mutual agreement, and we encourage you to take your own notes in your words as we talk, which many clients find more useful later than recording.
- Video for face-to-face conversation and quick visual review
- Phone for low-bandwidth or private listening while multitasking safely
- Chat for written exchange and easy review when speaking aloud not possible
- No recording unless explicitly agreed, time in Eastern Time with flexibility
